To Shui or not to Shui

Feng Shui

Who doesn’t appreciate the benefits of beautiful, comfortable living environments? Feng Shui (which is pronounced fung shway) is a vehicle for changing people’s lives, it explores how the placement of things and objects in your living environment affects the energy around you.
This energy is so important as it alters how you think and act which then, in turn affects how well you perform and succeed in your personal and professional life. I have recently been having a lot of trouble with burst pipes, damp and building work in my flat and I can’t express how much it has affected my life. The simple fact that I currently have no floor is making me feel incredibly un-grounded which is why I do genuinely believe that Feng Shui is not something to take lightly!

Here are a few tips that can help you bring love, health and money into your life:

  • Keep candles in your bedroom to create a romantic ambiance
  • Put two single, fresh roses next to your bed and visualise what they mean for you in terms of love
  • Keep technology and business/bank papers out of your bedroom. Your bedroom is for sleeping and sex only!
  • Keep candles in your bedroom to create a romantic ambiance

  • Stick to subtle tones in your home
  • Clear out clutter from your living space
  • Pay attention to the air flow in your home, fans help for energy flow and plants are great for air purification
  • Stick to subtle tones in your home

  • First impressions are everything, make sure that the entrance to your home is beautiful and that your door number is visible, so abundance can find you.
  • Fix any leaks in your home, regular leaks represent financial leaks and keeping your home stable will allow your finances to be stable and allow them to grow.
  • Keep your oven clean and use all your hobs equally, since your oven represents abundance and using all of the burners open a variety of opportunities and financial channels.
  • Explore subconscious beliefs about money. Do you (like many) believe that money is scarce? Do you think you have to work really hard to make ends meet? Replace those thoughts with an affirmation. For example: “Abundance comes easily to me through many different channels.” Stick to this and watch your life transform…
  • This one is funny… But keep the loo lid shut when it’s not in use. Just like the leaks, the loo represents flushing things away and you don’t want money to be one of those things! Protect your abundance.
